Work, Work and more Work!

We have been so blessed to have Bob working at a great company The Chariot Group for about the past 4 years, and he really enjoys his job!  Sometimes he gets to travel outside the state, but usually in state, but for the most part we get daddy home at nights.  With medical expenses and maybe just having more kids money has gotten tight, so Bob picked up an evening job at Best Buy.  He of course enjoys that as well working on computers and helping customers with electronics.  Bob works all day then about 3 nights a week at Best Buy, and on the weekends teaches private music lessons.  (this makes me tired thinking about it....)
He's one amazing guy to work so hard and try and take care of our family so well!
Utah's 2014 Teacher of the Year Allison Riddle- Bob was able to award her technology and training from his work.

On his way to a training and a sheep dog didn't want Bob messing with his sheep! This just cracks me up! :)

Alicia's Health

Well this past year I decided I was going to call it my year of "Healing."  I was diagnosed in 2010 with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and ever since have been trying to make it go away!
No one my age has Arthritis.... I mean that's crazy!
I was watching movies and reading books about people who had cancer and tumors and such and were cured from eating vegan, to juicing.  I was determined that this diagnosis was a bad dream and that I needed to just change my lifestyle, or diet to make this just go away!  I have been in denial this whole time!  So I went ahead and tried juicing, taking oils, vitamins, and found they weren't making it go away!  My doctor was having to put me on stronger meds and we are trying to find what he called the "cocktail" of meds for me! I now get an infusion of Remicade every 8 weeks.  This is nice since I don't have to store syringes in my fridge to inject myself either weekly or biweekly, or take more pills, I can just get an extremely expensive IV at the hospital every couple months.
This isn't bad at all!!  I think the worst part of all this was stressing about it more than just dealing with this, accepting it fully and just be grateful for the challenge God has decided to give me.
So my year of "healing" was a year of healing, but not in the physical aspect I was hoping, it was getting the 'infection' out of other aspects of my life so that I can heal, and begin healing in many other ways.

December 2013

December was a great month!  Although I did not plan as well as I had hoped for for Christmas!  Back in August I scheduled foot surgery which took place on Dec. 2nd, so.... that pretty much made Christmas shopping an online event for us! :)  Everyone was so helpful with helping out around the house, especially Damon, so that made life run more smoothly at home.
Heading in for Foot surgery... what was I thinking?!
We even saw Santa, and of course the baby was scared to death of him! :)

November 2013

November was a time of Thanks and we were able to have Thanksgiving Dinner with the Spence side this year.  So many things to be grateful, and my family is at the top of that list.  Here's few of the photos we took in November:
